Urging USA to stop a retaliatory war.
Above all, we deeply understands the shock, anger and fear of US citizens, deaths and the families of those who have been killed or injured in the terrorism to the passenger airlines occurred on Sep. 11th. and would like to share their anguish. Any terrorism or violence on innocent civilians is an obvious crime that cannot be forgiven nor be justified.
But, on the other hand, we are so disappointed at the reaction of US government and the behavior of the US main press which follows and incites it.
US leadership as well as the President Bush made people stand in fear of the possibility of all mankind's fall by mentioning that "The use of an atomic bomb is under consideration.", "We are ready to conduct unfair war." and "It must be a holy war".
Taking it into account that they are suffering through the shock and anger of this horrible terrorism, it is so unreasonable to say that.
We don't mean to dispute on something with the USA which suffered horrible tragedy.
But US leaders' those way of thinking and behavior could cause another disaster and it could lead to a great disaster to all mankind. So we want US government to regain its reason, rationality and true courage.
US government needs to listen to the world-wide conscientious people and the press which tries to keep objective. This horrible disaster demonstrates that a unilateral diplomatic policy by force which has taken all over the world by the US government since the Cold War caused a terrorism. It is well-known that since the Bush Administration was established, they have taken a pro-Israel policy, which sacrificed a great many civilian lives in the Mideast and that's why the Arab world got angry and frustrated.
If US government reviews its conduct, they can realize it is the best way to choose peaceful coexistence rather than a retaliatory war.
But unfortunately USA chose a war without knowing exactly who is guilty of the terrorism and launched military maneuvers.
Yesterday the USA took the first step of a retaliatory war named "Operation Infinite Justice" by launching fighters, fighter-bombers, and aircraft carriers in USA toward the Mideast.
Afghanistan government also refused to extradite Osama Bin Laden who USA is marking as a suspect responsible for the terror and firmed up its determination to conduct a holy war. As a result, war becomes inevitable reality.
As you know, all kinds of wars sacrifice more civilians, especially the weak, the old and women than combatants. It has been already verified by the previous wars USA conducted. We are so worried about that.
This war must lead to the expansion of armaments and militarism. Especially the fact that Japan which is adjacent to Korea expressed its intention to join the Self-Defense Force proves that Japan intends to takes the advantage of other nations' calamity and revive militarism by revising the Self-Defense Force Law and increasing armaments. These trends in Japan definitely lead to unrest in the situation of Northeast Asia and become a drag on our country's re-unification.
Terrorism and war result from hate and grudge.
Hate leads to another hate and blood leads to blood.
We oppose terrorism and war as well.
It depends on the decision of USA whether the whole human race makes a step forward peaceful coexistence, or advance toward the extinction of the human race.
We urge USA to stop war immediately and tries to bring to a peaceful settlement.
